Basic Thai Massage Training (85hours)

Thai massage is a beautiful ancestral technique in which we use our own body weight to massage, pressure, stretch, release and soften the receiver’s body. Through the application of Thai massages techniques, we can relax the legs, release the lower back, create space in the chest area, unwind the shoulders and neck tension. Thai massage is also a holistic practice that works with the whole physical body, with the emotional body as well as the energy body. Receiving a Thai Massage is deeply relaxing and helps the body natural self-healing capacities to be rejuvenated. Also Thai massage is a full participation art from the giver’s perspective and can be called a meditation in movement.

It also creates a road to come home to yourself, for both the giver and the receiver. It is a dance, a communication between two beings, meeting in a free space to connect, to hear, to feel, to see, to understand and to release.

The first sense we develop in our mother’s womb is touch, all the other senses come much later. Human touch is one of our most important basic needs, as important as water or food. Unfortunately, we grow up in a world in which we suffer a lot of deprivation of, or abuse through, touch, which leads to tension, anxiety, and social aloofness. To be held and cared by another human being has an incredible healing power. A loving and compassionate touch can nurture the body and mind and at the same time help to release any kind of stress or restriction.

During the training you will learn and explore the basic techniques you need to offer a 2-hour Thai Massage session. But more than that we want to invite you to a journey towards yourself.

With Meditation, Yoga Flow sequences to prepare your body, Yin Yoga sessions to prepare your soul and Yoga Nidra to guide you into deeper states of consciousness we want to share with you that giving a good and beneficial massage starts with you. The more you can empty yourself from beliefs, ideas, restrictions and conditioning the more you start to give in service to the other and the whole world.
